Originally from Naples, he has been living in Rome for three decades. He graduated cum laude in Economics and Business and earned an MBA.
Marco has gained extensive international experience in the finance sector, working in the Financial Department of TPL S.p.A. (now Technip S.p.A.), the International Banking Department of Morgan Grenfell & Co in London, and later acting as a Private Banker at Azimut S.p.A. and Credit Suisse Italy.
He has been a 20 years partner at Falcon Capital, a London-based company specializing in international venture capital transactions, which was sold to Soja Ventures in early 2024.
In 2017, he founded CSE Cybsec S.p.A., which later became Cybaze Group - encompassing Mediaservice and Yoroi- where he served as Group CEO. Cybaze and Mediaservice were eventually consolidated into Yoroi through a reverse merger, and Yoroi was subsequently acquired by Tinexta Cyber S.p.A.
